The English4Today Pronunciation and Listening files give you the chance to practice your listening skills and improve your pronunciation by listening to useful phrases from everyday situations such as meeting people, travel, shopping, giving directions and asking questions.

You can listen to the sound files as many times as you like. If you are a registered member (registration is free) you can also download the files with the text phrase and play them on your MP3 player or iPod. Each sound file has a short exercise underneath the player where you can check to make sure you have heard the phrase correctly. Fill in the blanks and then click the 'show phrase' bar to see if your answers are correct.
